Sustineri Partners and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) signed a cooperation agreement to drive ESG initiatives in the Western Balkans

Sustineri Partners and IFC have signed a cooperation agreement to drive ESG initiatives in the Western Balkans. The focus will be on the delivery of sustainable finance projects, capacity building, fostering an environment for sustainable investments, supporting the realization of the ESG Adria Summit 2024, as well as the implementation of regional gender empowerment initiatives.

“Today marks a significant milestone for Sustineri Partners as we join forces with the IFC to drive sustainable development in the Western Balkans through this impactful cooperation. This involves incorporating ESG standards and policies in companies, making the region more attractive to foreign investments, increasing the volume of trade, and enabling higher participation in the EU and other global economies,” said Biljana Braithwaite, founder and CEO of Sustineri Partners.

The ESG Adria Summit, one of Sustineri Partners’ key projects, aims to drive sustainable development in the Western Balkans and Adria countries.
